The resort is in the North-East coast of beautiful Bali Island, Indonesia (8°17’33.4″S 115°36’28.8″E). We are located just after Amlapura city and about a 2,5 – 3 hours car ride from Ngurah Rai International Airport.

We offer private transport from and back to the airport, or anywhere else in Bali, at any time. We only use trusted drivers with one of our air-conditioned resort cars.

The driver will meet you at the pre-agreed location at your preferred time. Drinking water is always available in the car.

Prepare for 2,5 – 3,5 hours car ride from the airport or any southern part of Bali. Prices start from 750,000 IDR.

Depending on Nationality, there are following most common options visitors choose, when they come to Indonesia, provided that main purpose is traveling as a tourist.

Most nationalities require a Visa to travel in Indonesia, and Visa-On-Arrival (VOA) is applicable. At present the VOA charge is 500,000 IDR and it’s valid for 30 days (extendable for another 30 days).

Free Visa Stamp, “Visa exemption”, is available for 10 countries:  Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Timor Leste, Thailand, Vietnam (FREE entry, 30 days valid NOT extendable)

Please check the Indonesian Embassy in your country to see if you qualify for a Free Visa Stamp, Visa exemption, or if you need a VOA.

Regarding the confirmation of your reservation and deposit payment, we accept payments with Credit Card and Bank Transfers.

Any additional payments in the hotel can be completed with credit card, bank transfers or cash. For credit cards, we accept VISA or Master Card payments. Please note that a 3 % surcharge applies to credit card payments and for cash payments we accept Indonesian Rupiah only.

Reservations cancelled 2 weeks before arrival date are subject to full refund of their deposit.
Cancellations made within 2 weeks of the arrival date are charged the deposit of 30%

No refunds are given for activities in your pre-booked package that was not used. When already in the resort and you are sick on the day of the activity, no refunds will be given; however, we will gladly reschedule the activity or hand it over to someone else in your company.

Any diving / snorkeling activity booked in the resort and cancelled within 24 hours of the scheduled activity, are liable to pay the full price, even if no deposit has been paid.

Minimum of 50% non-refundable deposit is required for all walk-in guests when booking an activity in Bali Dive Resorts and, if a cancellation is made within 24 hours of the scheduled activity, 100% of the activity price will be charged.

We have hot and cold water in the shower and 24 hours electricity in the resort. Electricity is 220 Volt and the plugs are 2 x small round-pins (CEE European plugs). Adapters and extension cords are available in the reception to borrow if you, for example, would need more sockets to charge you camera batteries.

For non-certified guests, we offer the PADI Discover SCUBA Diving program – with one of our qualified instructors. You can try diving for the first time; no experience necessary and no certification required. We also offer some stunning snorkelling at the USAT Liberty Wreck and you can also snorkel just outside the resort.

You can enjoy a full day tour in Karangasem regency which is rich on scenic views and has numerous of activities and attractions to offer.

A relaxing stay at Bali Dive Resort and Spa can never be complete without a visit to our Spa or having a delicious meal and refreshing drinks in our ocean front restaurants.

Non-divers can also enjoy our newest addition to our spa services: Authentic Finnish beach front Sauna with an ice bath.

The water temperature varies according to the season and the dive spots. The currents and the upswelling are present and can change the water temperature in a short notice. In general the water temperature in East Bali is between 27-30 Celsius degrees. Please note that the water temperature can drop down to 18 – 20 Celsius in Nusa Penida between May-November and long wetsuit is needed.

It is possible to dive year around here in Bali. Dry season runs from May to October and this is the best time for the clear skies and nice breeze.

January to March is descripted as a “rainy season” although it doesn’t rain all the time during that period. There are fewer scuba divers around during that time and the diving is still spectacularly good.

We do mostly shore dives here in Amed and Tulamben, as many of the dive sites are just offshore and the currents are not strong. If you would like to use a boat, there is an additional 200,000 IDR extra fee / person for boat dives. Note that all our boat dives are made with the local fishing boats called “jukungs”.

All our tanks have convertible valves which can be used for either DIN or Yoke (INT).

We have international team working with us in Bali Dive and the spoken languages are English, Swedish, Finnish, French and Indonesian.

For diving we offer small groups and flexible & personalized diving. We don’t have fixed diving schedules with time and dive site which makes it possible for you to go diving when you want to the dive sites you want.

Each of the rooms has a desk and power outlets, where you can store and set up your camera. If you need more towels, adapters or extension cords to charge your camera batteries, they are available at reception to borrow.

We offer FREE Nitrox for certified Nitrox divers in Bali Dive Resort and Spa, Tulamben. We have 30 nitrox tank in total, and nitrox is available due availability.
